In my experience, "everybody and nobody" is pretty bad at game design and anticipating loopholes in potential game mechanics.
I think a serious candidate for CSM should have enough of a sense of humor to see threads like this for what they are instead of giving people grief for having a little fun. You take yourself way too seriously and will probably be very difficult for the other CSM members to work with, resulting in completely ineffective representation of the demographic that votes for you. Also I like Skippermonkey, even though I really hate monkeys.
I agree. I believe the turn-of-events trend here, (with a more realistic addition to some of the staple current CSMs), will make it a more pleasant experience for all involved. It's time for less rhetoric and more intelligence for a few of the dark horse candidates.
